Bareno can fit about 40 guests inside comfortably, and another 25 outdoors. So, 65 is good if the weather is on point. In cooler months, lets stick to 40 as a realistic number.
For much bigger groups, we can look to join forces with the event space next-door - though more lead time is needed for potential license tweaks.

Sundays - Thursdays we have a minimum spend of $2,500, with $300 of that being for venue hire.
Friday and Saturday nights is $3,500 minimum spend, with a $800 venue hire as part of that.
We are happy to consider opening specially for your event on days we are traditionally closed.

This is not a lawless wasteland! Rules always exist... firstly, New Zealand law is still applicable within our walls.
That's a start.
Responsible service of alcohol is always in force - this is to protect you, me and the experience of your guests. Big Reno and his team are the sole decision makers around when someone has had enough. Being a private event does not make us more flexible.
We also have a strict 12:00midday - 1:00am alcohol license. This cannot and will not be flexible.
Honestly, we are pretty flexible and accommodating to what you want to achieve. Reach out to discuss and I will be more than happy to chat so you are happy.
